Has the Coronavirus affected you or your business?

Updated: May 13, 2020

In recent weeks, cases of coronavirus have been seen in an increasing number of countries across the world and we expect to continue to see more cases in the UK over the coming days and weeks. If you are worried about your business during this time we can help you with that!

What is coronavirus?

COVID-19 is a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways. It's caused by a virus called coronavirus that was discovered in 2019. Coronaviruses are a family of viruses that cause disease in animals. But seven, including the new virus, has made the jump to humans.

The virus believed to have come from a market in Wuhan which sold both dead and live animals including fish and birds. These kinds of markets pose a higher risk of viruses due to hygiene standards being difficult to maintain as live animals are densely packed in small spaces and being killed on site.

How can you prevent the virus spreading?

Coronavirus can be spread when people with the virus have close, sustained contact with people who are not infected. The more you come into contact from the droplets of the coughs and sneezes of an infected person, the more likely you are to catch the infection. But how are we able to prevent the virus from spreading quickly? The simplest things we can do are:

Stay Home!!

• Wash your hands often (avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands)

• Avoid close contact with people who are sick

• Cover any coughs or sneezes

• Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces

We do this by providing virtual offices where we solve your problems virtually; we receive your post and keep it secure until you can collect it, take your calls and take care of Google my business.

You are able to specify our address as the registered address for your company whilst keeping your home address private from customers, suppliers and other third parties. It can benefit you and your business as you are not having to come into contact with others giving you a higher chance of safety.

How can the coronavirus affect a business?

Office environments are one of the places where the virus could mainly affect you due to the close contact which is a reason why many businesses may be affected.

• Many businesses may have to work from home

• Customers buying less

• Clients being affected from the virus

• Staff taking time off
